Project Spotlight: James Hardie Siding Transformation in Papillion, Nebraska

Homeowner Andrew was looking for a fresh update of his outdated Papillion, Nebraska house. The paint had started to fade and there was a lot of rotted wood on the chimney and back of the house that needed replaced to avoid further deterioration to the house’s exterior. Andrew hired United Services to help. At our recommendation he opted for James Hardie siding made from fiber cement to give the home a refined appearance that is durable against the elements and is backed by a 30-year non-prorated product warranty.

BEFORE - The manufactured siding on the chimney had started to rot due to exposure to the elements.
AFTER - The house was updated with James Hardie 8” Plank siding in factory-painted Aged Pewter. The front trim, soffits and fascia were painted white to brighten the house and add dimension. The left window was replaced with a white picture window to match the other windows.

AFTER - The rotted wood on the chimney was replaced before installing the new siding. The house sits on a corner lot so the soffit and fascia were painted white on the entire house to make a statement from all angles.

BEFORE - The back of the home was dreary and had rotted wood.

AFTER - We continued the James Hardie 8" plank siding on the rear of the house after replacing the rotted wood. Three old windows did not match the new white replacement windows so we added white trim around the old windows for a uniform appearance.
